Description

Eucalyptus is the classic essential oil for blending into your henna mixture.

There are hundreds of varieties of eucalyptus tree, and in fact almost none of them are good "terps" for henna (meaning, it will not help provide a darker stain - even if it has the same botanical name)! We stock eucalyptus blue gum (eucalyptus globulus) with a high verified "terp" content. It reliably produces deep, dark stains especially when mixed with our Sūraja henna powder.

The oil has been carefully sourced and is intended for aromatherapy and therapeutic applications. It's harvested and steam distilled from Australian eucalyptus blue gum tree leaves. No chemicals or harsh solvents are used to produce the oil, resulting in an exceptionally high quality, gentle product.

How To Use

Our eucalyptus has a high monoterpene alcohol "terp" content, so it can be used alone or as your main oil when mixing fresh henna. Here's our recipe.

Shelf Life & Storage

Lasts approximately 3 to 4 years after you open the bottle. Store in a cool, dark location.

How do you ship your ready to use henna?

Great question! Ready to use henna (and our jagua-henna blend) is extremely perishable.
We prepare and plan for it to be in transit, so by the time it reaches you it's in perfect condition.

We ship it frozen so that it can gradually thaw and "dye release" while in transit. By the time it arrives, it will be room temp and at peak freshness!

Get it right into the freezer, and keep it frozen whenever it's not being used.

Is henna and jagua safe for eyebrows & freckles?

Yes! Since our henna and jagua are only made with natural ingredients (that's why they're so perishable), they are safe for all your skin. That said, we always recommend a patch test and instructions are included with every order.

What's the shelf life of henna and jagua?

In powdered form, henna and jagua will last a couple of years or longer. Once mixed and ready to use, keep them frozen for best longevity.

In the freezer, ready to use jagua will last 12 months, henna and jagua-henna blend will last 6 months in the freezer.
