Jagua-Henna *BLEND* Bottles

Description

Get deep, dark stains using safe, all-natural ingredients. This is our custom blend of organic henna leaves + jagua fruit to create an intensely bold stain, naturally.

Color Results

Stain color and tone will vary depending on where it’s applied on the body as well as individual body chemistry, ranging from plummy brown to eggplant-black. Like all natural henna and jagua products, hands and feet stain darkest especially on the palms and soles. Arms and legs are a bit lighter, and even lighter on the torso. It will be very light on the chest/neck/face. Follow our included aftercare instructions to achieve the darkest stain possible!

What's Included

Our fresh, professionally mixed jagua-henna blend paste is packaged in a soft squeeze bottle. Holds approximately 20 grams of paste. Each set includes a total of 3 stainless steel tips in a variety of sizes, for big bold creations to intricate patterns.

Shelf Life & Storage

Store in freezer at all times when not in use. Kept frozen, fresh jagua-henna will last about 6 months. Every order comes with complete instructions.

Ingredients

Organic Sūraja henna powder (lawsonia inermis), jagua juice (Genipa americana), organic cane sugar, and a blend of essential oils*.

* All essential oils are USDA certified organic, or wild harvested. Oils may include any/all of the following: lavender (lavandula angustifolia), cajeput (melaleuca cajuputi), cedarwood (cedrus atlantica), lemongrass (cymbopogon flexuosus), sweet orange (citrus sinensis) and occasionally others. If you have allergies or sensitivities to a particular oil, please get in touch.

More Details

Do you ship to my location?

We ship worldwide!

When will you ship my order?

Nearly all orders are shipped out within 24 hours. We're fast!

How do you ship your ready to use henna?

Great question! Ready to use henna (and our jagua-henna blend) is extremely perishable.
We prepare and plan for it to be in transit, so by the time it reaches you it's in perfect condition.

We ship it frozen so that it can gradually thaw and "dye release" while in transit. By the time it arrives, it will be room temp and at peak freshness!

Get it right into the freezer, and keep it frozen whenever it's not being used.

Is henna and jagua safe for eyebrows & freckles?

Yes! Since our henna and jagua are only made with natural ingredients (that's why they're so perishable), they are safe for all your skin. That said, we always recommend a patch test and instructions are included with every order.

What's the shelf life of henna and jagua?

In powdered form, henna and jagua will last a couple of years or longer. Once mixed and ready to use, keep them frozen for best longevity.

In the freezer, ready to use jagua will last 12 months, henna and jagua-henna blend will last 6 months in the freezer.

Get Together And Fun Jagua-henna Art!

We had fun drawing images on our hands and arms in preparation of attending burning man. By day 3 they looked amazing. This was day two.

Some things to think about...

The bottles are more difficult to squeeze, and the henna paste seems to thicken quicker in the bottles (I use a battery operated nail polish spinner to keep the paste mixed throughout applications), AND having said that, what I do love about the bottles are the way they fit in the hand. My designs have improved in the sense that the bottle fits the hand in a way that gives more control than the cone.
The jagua blend is my favorite, but it seems I get more variations in coloring (which is probably the expected).
Perhaps shorter cones and a softer to squeeze bottle?
I personally am a fan of SaraHenna. I like the organic formula, I like the smell (which is good because you smell it quite well and for awhile waiting for staining to properly occur).
I find the stain the best on the palms...I did my foot and entire hand and I am eager to see how the stain darkens over the next few hours.
I am a rising loctician and established esthetician so my hands do see a fair share of water, so how long it lasts is hard to gauge with those factors.
I am actually good with that though because it means I get to do more and different designs on the regular. Soon as one design gets faint, I replace it! I feel confident with the organic formulas since I am re-applying often.
So it's a total win for me!

Thanks, SaraHenna

Thanks so much for your review! Bottles are great for newer artists because as you mentioned, they fit really nicely in your hand and feel more natural to use. They're easier to control. As you start doing henna more regularly you may find you want to switch to cones. They take more practice, but are softer and require less pressure to squeeze. Your work is lovely and the stain looks beautiful!
