Jamila Henna Powder

Description

2025 crop now in stock!

Ultra-fine sift and a silky, creamy consistency makes Jamila a popular choice for many henna artists. Works beautifully on skin, hair and nails.

In contrast to our Suraja henna powder which has a stretchy "stringy" texture, Jamila has a very creamy consistency. Use it alone or create a custom blend of the two powders to find your perfect combination.

Jamila has been available since 1963, making it one of the most trusted brands on the market.

What's Included

100 grams Jamila henna powder, packed in foil wrap and boxed for freshness.

How To Use

Do you ship to my location?

We ship worldwide!

When will you ship my order?

Nearly all orders are shipped out within 24 hours. We're fast!

How do you ship your ready to use henna?

Great question! Ready to use henna (and our jagua-henna blend) is extremely perishable.
We prepare and plan for it to be in transit, so by the time it reaches you it's in perfect condition.

We ship it frozen so that it can gradually thaw and "dye release" while in transit. By the time it arrives, it will be room temp and at peak freshness!

Get it right into the freezer, and keep it frozen whenever it's not being used.

Is henna and jagua safe for eyebrows & freckles?

Yes! Since our henna and jagua are only made with natural ingredients (that's why they're so perishable), they are safe for all your skin. That said, we always recommend a patch test and instructions are included with every order.

What's the shelf life of henna and jagua?

In powdered form, henna and jagua will last a couple of years or longer. Once mixed and ready to use, keep them frozen for best longevity.

In the freezer, ready to use jagua will last 12 months, henna and jagua-henna blend will last 6 months in the freezer.

I?ve forgotten how much I love mixing Jamila henna to the other kinds of hennas. I usually love stringy henna like Moroccan henna and Rajastani henna because I usually do North African henna designs, but lately I?ve been into flowers with a lot of geometric shapes henna designs and stringy type of henna was not working in my favor for the flowers so I decided to add a little bit of jamila which never fails to make my paste creamy. I was almost out of the henna powder that I get from a different henna supplier for years now so I decided to look for another shop just to test other products and I?m glad I decided to try Sarahenna. great quality products and fast reply and shipping. now I have a henna shop that I totally love.
